There are over 120 different tribes in Tanzania each with unique customs and traditions.  Besides the colourful and interesting tribes such as the Maasai or Hadzabe, you can visit farms and villages to get a real taste of what life is like in rural Tanzania. Learn about agriculture– from coffee to bananas to maize. Taste the local cuisine and learn a traditional dance, see the herbal healer or sample some local brew.

We can arrange home stays for a more in-depth experience or a few interesting stops along the way. There is also a wealth of culture to discover on the Swahili coast.
