Southern Tanzania Safaris

Although the southern reaches of Tanzania are becoming more popular the area is home to some of the vastest stretches of wilderness areas on the planet. The region is traversed most easily by small aircraft (there are daily flights to most parks) but a vehicle safari can be arranged as well. Here, along with the ‘big five’ you’ll find some interesting species including roan and sable antelope and African wild dog and intimate camps and lodges embracing the precepts of eco-tourism.
